🍰 Basic Recipe for Sweet Yeast Dough

Ingredients
- milk 150 ml
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- sugar 200 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 600 g
- salt pinch
- butter 150 g
- eggs 3 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Heat the milk in a pot for about 1 minute until it is lukewarm. Crumble the yeast into a small bowl and dissolve it together with 1 tbsp sugar in the tempered milk. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for approx. 15 minutes.
- 2. In the meantime, mix the remaining sugar, flour, salt, and the butter cut into pieces in a bowl. Add the yeast milk and the eggs and knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 3. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has approximately doubled in size.
- 4. Knead the dough briefly again and continue processing it according to the recipe. This recipe yields enough dough for 1 baking sheet or a Bundt cake pan (diameter 22 cm). Enjoy your meal!
