🍰 Classic Striezel Apple Bake

Ingredients
- Nussstriezel 500 g
- eggs 2 pcs
- milk 500 ml
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- sugar 100 g
- apples, red 4 pcs
- walnut kernels 6 tbsp
- oil for greasing 1 tbsp
- raisins 60 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Slice the nut Striezel into thick slices.
- 3. Whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar together in a bowl.
- 4. Dip the Striezel slices into the egg-milk mixture.
- 5. Let the slices soak in the liquid for about 5 minutes.
- 6. Peel the apples and remove the core.
- 7. Slice the apples into thin slices.
- 8. Roughly chop the walnuts.
- 9. Grease a loaf pan with some fat.
- 10. Remove the soaked Striezel slices from the liquid.
- 11. Layer the Striezel slices and apple slices alternately in the pan.
- 12. Sprinkle the raisins and walnuts over the layers.
- 13. Bake the bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown in the oven.
- 14. Take the bake out of the oven.
- 15. Serve the bake hot on plates.
