🍝 Sweet and Sour Noodles with Chicken

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- oil 4 tbsp
- bell pepper 1 tsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- spring onions 4 pcs
- carrots 200 g
- celery stalks 200 g
- Napa cabbage 400 g
- pineapple pieces from the can 300 g
- cashew nuts 50 g
- cayenne pepper 0.5 tsp
- soy sauce 4 tbsp
- tomato paste 2 tbsp
- sugar 1 tbsp
- vinegar 2 tbsp
- vegetable broth 300 ml
- Chow Mein noodles 300 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into cubes of about 3 cm.
- 4. Place the chicken cubes in a bowl.
- 5. Add 2 tablespoons of oil, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Mix everything well so that the meat is seasoned evenly.
- 7. Wash the spring onions under running water.
- 8. Shake off the water from the onions.
- 9. Cut the spring onions roughly into pieces.
- 10. Peel the carrots.
- 11. Remove the ends of the carrots.
- 12. Cut the carrots roughly into pieces.
- 13. Wash the celery under running water.
- 14. Remove the ends of the celery.
- 15. Chop the celery roughly.
- 16. Wash the Chinese cabbage under running water.
- 17. Cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips.
- 18. Place the pineapple pieces in a sieve.
- 19. Let the juice drain and catch it in a container.
- 20. Place the cashew nuts in the mixing container.
- 21. Crush the cashew nuts for 4 seconds on speed 6.
- 22. Transfer the crushed cashew nuts into another container.
- 23. Place the spring onions, carrots, and celery in the mixing pot.
- 24. Crush the vegetables for 5 seconds on speed 5.
- 25. Push the vegetables down with a spatula.
- 26. Add cayenne pepper, 150 g of pineapple juice, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and vinegar.
- 27. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes at 100 °C in reverse mode.
- 28. Add the vegetable broth, noodles, Chinese cabbage, and pineapple pieces to the pot.
- 29. Cook everything for 8 minutes at 100 °C in reverse mode.
- 30. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan on high heat.
- 31. Fry the chicken cubes for approx. 4-5 minutes until crispy on all sides.
- 32. Season the Chow Mein noodles with soy sauce.
- 33. Serve the noodles on plates.
- 34. Sprinkle the noodles with the chicken and cashew nuts.
- 35. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal!
