  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Mix 100 grams of butter, sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanilla sugar in a bowl with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
  3. 3. Add the eggs one by one and mix each egg in well before adding the next one.
  4. 4. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  5. 5. Stir the flour mixture together with the milk and Amaretto into the butter-egg mixture briefly.
  6. 6. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  7. 7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. 8. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes in the oven until it is golden brown.
  9. 9. Loosely cover the surface of the cake with aluminum foil towards the end of the baking time if it is browning too much.
  10. 10. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
  11. 11. Remove the cake from the pan once it has cooled down.
  12. 12. Chop the chocolate coating into small pieces.
  13. 13. Bring cream and one tablespoon of butter to a boil in a saucepan.
  14. 14. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chocolate pieces until they are completely melted.
  15. 15. Let the chocolate cream cool for about one hour and stir it occasionally.
  16. 16. Spread the cream evenly over the cooled cake as soon as it is thick but still spreadable.
