  1. 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Take a bowl and add the butter, 100 grams of powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, and one egg.
  3. 3. Mix the ingredients with an electric hand mixer using the dough hooks until you have a creamy mixture.
  4. 4. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the bowl.
  5. 5. Knead everything with the mixer until a smooth and homogeneous dough forms.
  6. 6. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
  7. 7. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 5 millimeters.
  8. 8. Cut star shapes out of the dough.
  9. 9. Place the stars with some space between them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  10. 10. Put the tray in the oven and bake the stars for about 14 minutes.
  11. 11. Take a small bowl and mix powdered sugar with a little water until a thick glaze forms.
  12. 12. Put the glaze into a freezer bag.
  13. 13. Cut off a small corner of the bag.
  14. 14. Dab small dots with the glaze onto the cooled cookies.
  15. 15. Place one sugar pearl on each still wet chocolate dot.
  16. 16. Let the decoration dry completely.
  17. 17. Serve the finished stars with a cup of coffee.
