  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Take the butter out of the fridge to let it soften.
  3. 3. Wash the beef fillet steaks and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
  4. 4. Let the steaks come to room temperature.
  5. 5. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  6. 6. Cut the potatoes into slices about 0.3 cm thick.
  7. 7. Cut the potatoes in a fan shape, but do not cut all the way through.
  8. 8. Place the potatoes between two wooden spoon handles to keep them stable.
  9. 9. Place the potatoes on a baking tray with the cut side facing up.
  10. 10. Drizzle the potatoes with 2 tablespoons of oil.
  11. 11. Lightly salt the potatoes.
  12. 12. Bake the potatoes in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  13. 13. Wash the lime under running water.
  14. 14. Cut the lime in half.
  15. 15. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
  16. 16. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
  17. 17. Shake the parsley dry.
  18. 18. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
  19. 19. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  20. 20. Mix the softened butter with the chopped herbs in a bowl.
  21. 21. Season the butter mixture with salt.
  22. 22. Add 1 teaspoon of lime juice to the butter mixture.
  23. 23. Set the herb butter aside.
  24. 24. Peel the kohlrabi.
  25. 25. Remove fibrous parts from the kohlrabi.
  26. 26. Dice the kohlrabi into pieces about 0.5 cm in size.
  27. 27. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on high heat.
  28. 28. Sear the steaks for about 2 minutes on each side.
  29. 29. Reduce the heat to medium.
  30. 30. Continue cooking the meat for a total of about 6 minutes.
  31. 31. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  32. 32. Wrap the steaks in aluminum foil.
  33. 33. Let the steaks rest in the foil for about 10 minutes.
  34. 34. Reheat the pan with the pan drippings.
  35. 35. Add the kohlrabi cubes to the hot pan.
  36. 36. Fry the kohlrabi on high heat for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
  37. 37. Shake the pan occasionally to prevent the kohlrabi from burning.
  38. 38. Season the kohlrabi with salt.
  39. 39. Add cream to the kohlrabi in the pan.
  40. 40. Let the mixture simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  41. 41. Taste the kohlrabi and adjust with salt, pepper, and lime juice.
  42. 42. Take the steaks out of the aluminum foil.
  43. 43. Add the released meat juices to the kohlrabi.
  44. 44. Take the potatoes out of the oven.
  45. 45. Arrange the fan potatoes on plates.
  46. 46. Place the steaks next to the potatoes.
  47. 47. Add the kohlrabi vegetables.
  48. 48. Place a piece of herb butter on the steaks.
