🍽️ Juicy steaks with crispy fries and fresh herb butter

Ingredients
- Beef rump steaks 600 g
- Rosemary, fresh 5 g
- Thyme, fresh 5 g
- Parsley, fresh 10 g
- Basil, fresh 10 g
- Chives, fresh 10 g
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Butter 200 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Fries, frozen 1 kg
- Oil 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Take the steaks out of the fridge to let them reach room temperature.
- 3. Rinse the herbs, pluck off the leaves or needles, and chop them finely.
- 4. Peel the garlic and chop it finely as well.
- 5. Rinse the lemon under hot water, finely grate about one teaspoon of the zest, and squeeze out the juice.
- 6. In a bowl, mix the soft butter with the herbs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- 7. Spread the oven fries evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 8. Bake the fries in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- 9. Rinse the steaks and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Season the steaks with salt.
- 11. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan over high heat.
- 12. Sear the steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
- 13. Remove the steaks from the pan, wrap them in aluminum foil, and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- 14. Take the fries out of the oven and season them to your liking.
- 15. Pepper the steaks.
- 16. Serve the steaks together with the fries on plates.
- 17. Serve with the herb butter and enjoy your meal.
