Ingredients
- onions, red 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- cream cheese, plain 400 g
- oregano, dried 1 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- bell peppers 4 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half.
- 2. Peel off the outer layers and dice the onion finely.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic.
- 5. Place the onion and garlic into a bowl.
- 6. Add cream cheese.
- 7. Sprinkle oregano over the mixture.
- 8. Season with salt and pepper.
- 9. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 10. Rinse the pointed peppers thoroughly under running water.
- 11. Cut off the top ends of the peppers.
- 12. Remove the seeds and white pith from the inside.
- 13. Fill the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed-out peppers.
- 14. Take a piece of aluminum foil.
- 15. Wrap the stuffed pepper individually in the foil.
- 16. Seal the foil edges tightly to prevent leakage.
- 17. Place the foil packets at the edge of the grill directly into the embers.
- 18. Grill the peppers for about 20 minutes.
- 19. Turn the packets frequently to ensure even cooking.
