🍽️ Crispy Spinach Dumplings in Nutty Cheese Butter

Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Spinach dumplings 800 g
- Butter 120 g
- Alpine cheese 60 g
Instructions
- 1. Fill a large pot with about 4 liters of water and add plenty of salt.
- 2. Bring the salted water to a boil with the lid on.
- 3. Reduce the heat so that the water is just simmering and not boiling vigorously.
- 4. Place the dumplings into the gently simmering water.
- 5. Let the dumplings cook for about 12 minutes on low to medium heat.
- 6. Remove the dumplings from the water as soon as they float to the surface.
- 7. Cut the butter into coarse cubes.
- 8. Melt the butter in a pot over medium to high heat.
- 9. Watch closely for when the butter just starts to turn brown and smell nutty.
- 10. Pour the brown butter immediately into a pan to use as nut butter.
- 11. Grate the Alpine cheese coarsely.
- 12. Lift the finished dumplings out of the cooking water using a slotted spoon.
- 13. Add the dumplings directly to the pan with the nut butter.
- 14. Season the dumplings with a little salt.
- 15. Fry the dumplings until golden brown for 1 to 2 minutes by tossing them in the pan over medium heat.
- 16. Arrange the crispy dumplings on the plates.
- 17. Drizzle the dumplings with the remaining nut butter.
- 18. Sprinkle the grated Alpine cheese over them.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal!
