  1. 1. Cut Parmesan into coarse pieces and crush in the mixing container for 10 seconds on speed 8. Set aside in a bowl.
  2. 2. Cut the bread rolls into cubes and crush in the mixing container with the measuring cup inserted for 20 seconds on speed 10. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. 3. Optionally halve and peel the shallot and garlic. Crush the shallot and garlic in the mixing container with the measuring cup inserted for 6 seconds on speed 8. Scrape down the inside walls of the mixing container with a spatula. Add olive oil and sweat without the measuring cup for 2 minutes on sauté setting.
  4. 4. Wash the spinach and spin dry in a salad spinner. Pour milk into the mixing container, add the spinach and steam with the measuring cup inserted for 6 minutes on speed 1 at 100 °C. Then crush with the measuring cup inserted for 6 seconds on speed 8. Let the spinach cool.
  5. 5. Add eggs and spices to the spinach and stir in with the measuring cup inserted for 10 seconds on speed 4. Add bread crumbs and flour and mix with counter-clockwise rotation for 20 seconds on speed 3 with the measuring cup inserted. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let rest for about 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Form balls about 5 cm in size from the mixture with moist hands. Distribute the balls evenly in the steam insert and the shallow steam insert.
  7. 7. Fill the cleaned mixing container with 1 liter of warm water, place the steam inserts on top, put on the lid and cook the balls for 20 minutes in steam mode.
  8. 8. Melt the butter in the empty mixing container with the measuring cup inserted for 3 minutes on speed 1 at 100 °C. Plate the spinach balls, pour the melted butter over them and sprinkle with Parmesan. Enjoy your meal!
