🍝 Spicy Shrimp Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- shrimp cooked, frozen 400 g
- salt pinch
- onions, yellow 2 pcs
- garlic cloves 2 pcs
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- spaghetti 500 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- tomato paste 2 tbsp
- white wine, dry 300 ml
- pepper, black ground pinch
- chili, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Ideally, thaw the shrimp overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Bring about 5 liters of salted water to a boil in a large pot.
- 3. Halve the onions, peel them, and dice them finely.
- 4. Peel the garlic and dice it finely as well.
- 5. Wash the parsley thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 6. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
- 7. Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 8. Cook the spaghetti in the boiling salted water for about 8 minutes until al dente.
- 9. Save one cup of the pasta water before draining the noodles.
- 10. Let the noodles drain.
- 11. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat.
- 12. Fry the shrimp in it for about 2 minutes.
- 13. Add the onions and garlic to the pan.
- 14. Fry the vegetables for another 2 minutes.
- 15. Add the tomato paste to the pan.
- 16. Deglaze the mixture with white wine.
- 17. Let the sauce come to a boil for about 2 minutes.
- 18. Season the sauce generously with salt, pepper, chili, and optionally a little sugar.
- 19. Add the spaghetti to the pan.
- 20. Mix everything well together.
- 21. Add some of the reserved pasta water if needed.
- 22. Plate the spaghetti with the sauce.
- 23. Sprinkle the dish with the chopped parsley.
