  1. 1. Let the shrimp thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. 2. Bring about 5 liters of salted water to a boil in a large pot.
  3. 3. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it finely.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  5. 5. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
  6. 6. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and pick the leaves off the stems.
  7. 7. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  8. 8. Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  9. 9. Cook the spaghetti in the boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente.
  10. 10. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  11. 11. Sauté the onion together with the garlic for about 1 minute.
  12. 12. Add the shrimp and the tomatoes to the pan.
  13. 13. Fry the ingredients for about 4 minutes.
  14. 14. Deglaze the mixture with white wine.
  15. 15. Let the sauce boil for about 1 minute.
  16. 16. Drain the spaghetti in a colander.
  17. 17. Save about one cup of the cooking water.
  18. 18. Pour the saved cooking water into the pan.
