🍳 Creamy Sunflower Seed Spread with Tomato

Ingredients
- sunflower seeds 300 g
- water 300 ml
- basil, fresh 10 g
- tomato paste 4 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- oregano, dried 1 tsp
- cayenne pepper pinch
Instructions
- 1. Heat a frying pan over low heat.
- 2. Roast the sunflower seeds in the pan without any fat. Shake the pan regularly. Roast them for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 3. Place the roasted sunflower seeds into a tall container.
- 4. Add some water.
- 5. Blend the mixture finely with a blender until it becomes creamy.
- 6. Wash the fresh basil thoroughly.
- 7. Shake the basil dry.
- 8. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
- 9. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 10. Stir the tomato paste into the sunflower seed cream.
- 11. Season the cream generously with salt.
- 12. Season the cream with black pepper.
- 13. Season the cream with oregano.
- 14. Sprinkle the finished spread with a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- 15. Sprinkle the spread with the freshly chopped basil leaves.
- 16. Serve the spread.
