  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the dill under running water.
  2. 2. Pat the greens dry and remove the thick stems.
  3. 3. Finely chop the dill leaves.
  4. 4. Slice the salmon into thin pieces using a sharp knife.
  5. 5. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  6. 6. Carefully scoop the flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
  7. 7. Slice the avocado flesh.
  8. 8. Mix the cream cheese, honey, and mustard well together in a bowl.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. 10. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the rye bread.
  11. 11. Place the salmon slices on top of the spread bread.
  12. 12. Arrange the avocado slices next to or on top of the salmon.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the finished smørrebrød with the chopped fresh dill.
