🍽️ Smashed Potatoes – Crispy Oven Potatoes with Rosemary

Ingredients
- potatoes, waxy 1 kg
- salt pinch
- rosemary, fresh 10 g
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- olive oil 4 tbsp
- honey 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with water and add some salt.
- 2. Place the potatoes in the salted water so they are completely covered.
- 3. Bring the water to a boil.
- 4. Reduce the heat to a medium setting.
- 5. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 6. Let the potatoes cook for about 20 minutes.
- 7. Drain the cooking water.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 9. Wash the rosemary sprigs under running water.
- 10. Press the garlic cloves flat using the blunt side of a knife.
- 11. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 12. Spread the boiled potatoes on the tray.
- 13. Press each potato flat using the bottom of a glass.
- 14. Place the rosemary and the flattened garlic with the potatoes.
- 15. Drizzle everything with olive oil.
- 16. Add some honey.
- 17. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 18. Bake the potatoes for about 15 minutes.
- 19. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 20. Season the potatoes lightly with salt to taste.
- 21. Serve the crispy potatoes immediately.
