Ingredients
- Courgettes 2 pcs.
- Garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- Salt pinch
- Brown sugar 2 tsp
- Soy sauce 3 tsp
- Rice vinegar 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil 2 tsp
- Sesame, roasted 2 tbsp
- Coriander, fresh 1 bunch
Instructions
- 1. Place the cucumbers on a cutting board.
- 2. Place a large kitchen knife across the cucumbers.
- 3. Tap firmly on the knife with the back of your hand.
- 4. Repeat the tapping until the cucumbers break into four long segments.
- 5. Cut the broken cucumber pieces diagonally into bite-sized pieces.
- 6. Place the cucumber pieces into a large bowl.
- 7. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 8. Finely chop the garlic.
- 9. Place the garlic into a small bowl.
- 10. Add salt, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- 11. Whisk the ingredients together to form a uniform dressing.
- 12. Pour the dressing over the cucumber pieces.
- 13. Toss everything together thoroughly.
- 14. Let the salad sit for about 3 minutes.
- 15. Stir sesame seeds into the salad.
- 16. Wash the cilantro thoroughly.
- 17. Tear the cilantro into coarse pieces.
- 18. Sprinkle the cilantro over the finished salad.
