  3. 3. Break the broccoli into small florets.
  4. 4. Leave about 2 centimeters of the stem attached to each floret.
  5. 5. Wash the carrots as well.
  6. 6. Peel the carrots.
  7. 7. Halve the carrots lengthwise.
  8. 8. Quarter the carrot halves lengthwise as well.
  9. 9. Wash the lime.
  10. 10. Halve the lime.
  11. 11. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
  12. 12. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  13. 13. Spread the broccoli on the tray.
  14. 14. Spread the carrots on the tray.
  15. 15. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the vegetables.
  16. 16. Add some beet syrup.
  17. 17. Season with salt.
  18. 18. Season with pepper.
  19. 19. Mix everything well.
  20. 20. Roast the vegetables in the oven.
  21. 21. Let the vegetables roast for about 25 minutes.
  22. 22. Pour the chickpeas into a sieve.
