  1. 1. Put cream, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt into a pot.
  2. 2. Heat the mixture on medium heat until it comes to a boil.
  3. 3. Add the chestnuts to the boiling liquid.
  4. 4. Simmer the chestnuts for about 5 minutes on low heat.
  5. 5. Then puree the mixture very finely using a hand blender.
  6. 6. Rinse screw-top jars with hot water.
  7. 7. Fill the warm chestnut cream into the jars.
  8. 8. Seal the jars airtight.
  9. 9. Store the cream in a cool, dark place until you are ready to serve it.
