  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Rinse the pork steaks under cold water and pat them completely dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Rub the steaks generously with salt and a spice mix suitable for pork.
  4. 4. Wash the spinach and spin it dry in a salad spinner.
  5. 5. Wash the apples, cut them into quarters, and remove the core.
  6. 6. Cut the apple quarters into thin slices.
  7. 7. Bring about 4 liters of water with salt to a boil in a large pot.
  8. 8. Add the gnocchi to the boiling water.
  9. 9. Cook the gnocchi for about 4 minutes until they float to the surface.
  10. 10. Pour the gnocchi into a colander and let them drain well.
  11. 11. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan over high heat.
  12. 12. Sear the steaks in the hot pan for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  13. 13. Place the seared steaks on a baking sheet.
  14. 14. Finish cooking the steaks in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Wrap the finished steaks in aluminum foil and let them rest.
  16. 16. Leave the pan from searing the steaks uncleaned.
  17. 17. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and honey to the hot pan.
  18. 18. Melt the butter and honey over medium heat while stirring for about 1 minute.
  19. 19. Fry the apple slices in the butter-honey mixture for about 2 minutes.
  20. 20. Remove the pan from the heat and set the apples aside covered.
  21. 21. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a clean frying pan over medium heat.
  22. 22. Fry the drained gnocchi in the butter for about 3 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally.
  23. 23. Add the dry spinach to the gnocchi.
  24. 24. Toss everything for about 2 minutes until the spinach wilts.
  25. 25. Season the gnocchi and spinach with salt at the end.
  26. 26. Plate the gnocchi.
  27. 27. Place the pork steaks and the caramelized apples alongside.
  28. 28. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal.
