🍽️ Pork Loin Steak Wrapped in Bacon

Ingredients
- Pork loin 600 g
- Thyme, fresh 15 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Serrano ham 200 g
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Baguette 1 pc
- Green beans, frozen 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Take the pork loin out of the fridge and let it reach room temperature.
- 2. Wash the meat thoroughly and then pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the thyme sprigs and shake off excess water.
- 4. Carefully pluck the thyme leaves off the stems.
- 5. Season the pork loin generously with salt and pepper.
- 6. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 7. Cover the baking paper completely with the slices of Serrano ham.
- 8. Wrap the pork loin tightly in the ham.
- 9. Secure the package with kitchen twine so it does not unravel.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 11. Heat a frying pan suitable for the oven with some oil on high heat.
- 12. Sear the pork loin for about two minutes on each side.
- 13. Add the fresh thyme leaves to the pan.
- 14. Place the pan in the oven and bake the meat for about 40 minutes.
- 15. Place the baguette in the oven when there are about eight minutes of baking time left.
- 16. Bring about 1.5 liters of salted water to a boil in a pot.
- 17. Add the beans to the boiling water and cook them for about five minutes until tender but firm.
- 18. Drain the beans in a colander.
- 19. Rinse the beans immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 20. Take the pork loin out of the oven.
- 21. Wrap the meat briefly in aluminum foil.
- 22. Let the meat rest for about ten minutes so the juices can distribute.
- 23. Toss the beans briefly in the pan juices.
- 24. Slice the pork loin.
- 25. Serve the meat, beans, and baguette together on the plate.
