🍽️ Crispy Oven Potatoes with Spicy Pork Steak, Apple Curry Onions and Grilled Tomato

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 1 kg
- oil 6 tbsp
- vine tomatoes 4 pcs
- parmesan 20 g
- onions, yellow 2 pcs
- apples, green 1 pc
- spring onions 1 bunch
- sugar pinch
- mustard 1 tbsp
- curry powder pinch
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- minute steaks from pork 600 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into quarters or eighths depending on their size.
- 3. Place the potato pieces on a baking sheet and toss them well with two tablespoons of oil.
- 4. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
- 5. Remove the hard stem from the tomato halves.
- 6. Place the tomatoes cut-side up on the baking sheet next to the potatoes.
- 7. Grate Parmesan cheese over the tomato halves.
- 8. Place the tray in the oven and bake everything for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 9. Cut the onions in half and peel them.
- 10. Cut the peeled onions into thin strips.
- 11. Wash the apple and cut it into quarters.
- 12. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 13. Slice the apple into pieces about half a centimeter thick.
- 14. Wash the spring onions and remove the roots.
- 15. Cut the spring onions diagonally into rings about one centimeter thick.
- 16. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pot over high heat.
- 17. Sauté the apple slices, onion strips, one tablespoon of sugar, and mustard for about two minutes.
- 18. Add the curry powder and stir briefly.
- 19. Reduce the heat to medium and cover the pot.
- 20. Let the mixture cook for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 21. Add the cut spring onions to the apple-onion mixture.
- 22. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 23. Rinse the pork steaks and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 24. Season the steaks with salt on both sides.
- 25. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 26. Fry the steaks for about three minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 27. Remove the pan from the heat and pepper the steaks generously.
- 28. Cover the steaks and let them rest for about three minutes.
- 29. Remove the baking sheet with the potatoes and tomatoes from the oven.
- 30. Season the oven potatoes to taste.
- 31. Plate the potatoes and tomatoes.
- 32. Place the pork steaks next to the potatoes.
- 33. Spoon the warm apple-curry onions over the steaks.
- 34. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal.
