  3. 3. Mix the cream with a hand mixer and a whisk in a bowl until it is stiff.
  4. 4. Add the sugar slowly while you continue to beat.
  5. 5. Gently stir the yogurt into the whipped cream.
  6. 6. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish.
  7. 7. Place the dish in the freezer compartment.
  8. 8. Wait about 60 minutes until the mixture starts to freeze around the edges.
  9. 9. Stir the mixture vigorously to break up the formed ice crystals.
  10. 10. Place the dish back in the freezer compartment for another 60 minutes.
  11. 11. Take the dish out and stir in the chopped chocolate.
  12. 12. Place the dish back in the freezer compartment for another 60 minutes.
  13. 13. Take the dish out and stir the mixture well again.
  14. 14. Gently fold in the drained sour cherries.
  15. 15. Place the dish in the freezer compartment for another 30 minutes.
  16. 16. Take the frozen yogurt out and serve it.
