🍰 Black Forest Cherry Dessert in a Glass

Ingredients
- Cherries in a jar 400 g
- Sugar 6 tbsp
- Cornstarch 2 tbsp
- Whipping cream 200 g
- Vanilla sugar 1 packet
- Quark 40% fat in dry matter 200 g
- Chocolate cookies 200 g
- Chocolate sprinkles, dark chocolate 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Drain the cherries in a sieve. Catch the cherry liquid in a pot.
- 2. Add the sugar to the pot with the cherry juice. Heat the mixture on medium until it boils.
- 3. Mix the cornstarch in a small bowl with a little cold water until you have a smooth paste.
- 4. Pour the starch paste into the boiling cherry juice. Stir until the liquid thickens.
- 5. Add the drained cherries to the thickened sauce. Stir them in.
- 6. Let the cherry mixture cool down completely.
- 7. Put the whipping cream and vanilla sugar into a large bowl.
- 8. Whip the cream stiff using a hand mixer with a whisk attachment.
- 9. Mix the quark in a separate bowl with the stiffly whipped cream.
- 10. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar to the quark-cream mixture. Stir everything well.
- 11. Crumble the chocolate cookies into coarse pieces using your hands.
- 12. Place a layer of crumbled cookies at the bottom of a glass.
- 13. Layer spoonfuls of the cherry mixture and spoonfuls of the quark-cream mixture alternately into the glass.
- 14. Repeat the layers until the glass is full.
- 15. Sprinkle the finished dessert with chocolate sprinkles.
- 16. Serve the dessert immediately or chill it briefly in the refrigerator.
