🍽️ Schupfnudeln with Orange-Apple Compote

Ingredients
- Apples, red 2 pcs.
- Oranges 2 pcs.
- Orange jam 80 g
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Dumplings 500 g
- Sugar pinch
- Cinnamon pinch
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly, quarter them, remove the core, and cut into small pieces. Rinse the oranges, finely grate about one teaspoon of zest, then halve them and squeeze out the juice.
- 2. In a pot, bring the apples together with the jam, the grated orange zest, and the freshly squeezed orange juice to a boil, then simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until soft.
- 3. Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat and fry the dumplings in it for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 4. Add the orange-apple compote to the pan, mix everything well, and season with sugar and cinnamon. Serve the dumplings on plates together with the orange-apple compote. Enjoy your meal!
