  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Beat 100 grams of butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl with a hand mixer until creamy.
  3. 3. Stir the eggs into the butter-sugar mixture.
  4. 4. Mix cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  5. 5. Alternately add the dry mixture and the yogurt to the batter and stir briefly.
  6. 6. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
  7. 7. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
  8. 8. Take the dough out of the fridge and form 16 small mounds on the sheets using a tablespoon.
  9. 9. Make sure the mounds have plenty of space between them.
  10. 10. Bake the sheets one after the other for about 15 minutes in the oven.
  11. 11. Remove the whoopie pies from the oven when the edges are slightly crispy.
  12. 12. Let the pies cool completely on a wire rack.
  13. 13. Beat 200 grams of butter in a bowl with the hand mixer until creamy.
  14. 14. Gradually add powdered sugar to the butter and stir it in.
  15. 15. Season the buttercream with a pinch of salt and cinnamon.
  16. 16. Chill the filling briefly to let it set.
  17. 17. Spread the buttercream onto 8 whoopie pies up to the edges.
  18. 18. Place the remaining 8 pies on top as lids.
  19. 19. Spread chocolate sprinkles on a plate.
  20. 20. Roll the edges of the finished pies in the sprinkles.
  21. 21. Serve the whoopie pies and enjoy them.
