🍰 Homemade Chocolate Almond Spread

Ingredients
- almonds, whole 100 g
- raisins 50 g
- cocoa powder 2 tbsp
- chocolate, dark 200 g
- butter 50 g
- whipping cream 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat a pan over medium heat.
- 2. Toast the almonds in the pan without added fat for about two to three minutes.
- 3. Let the toasted almonds cool down completely.
- 4. Finely chop the cooled almonds.
- 5. Coarsely chop the raisins.
- 6. Place the chopped almonds, raisins, and cocoa powder into a bowl.
- 7. Mix the dried fruits and powder thoroughly in the bowl.
- 8. Cut the chocolate into small pieces.
- 9. Fill a pot with about one liter of water.
- 10. Bring the water in the pot to a boil.
- 11. Place a metal bowl over the hot water, but ensure it does not touch the water.
- 12. Add the chocolate pieces, butter, and cream into the metal bowl.
- 13. Melt the ingredients in the bowl over the hot water until they are liquid.
- 14. Stir the almond and raisin mixture into the melted chocolate.
- 15. Fill the finished spread into clean jars.
- 16. Seal the jars tightly.
- 17. Let the filled jars cool down.
- 18. Store the spread in the refrigerator.
