🍰 Crunchy Chocolate Macarons

Ingredients
- powdered sugar 150 g
- cocoa powder 4 tsp
- eggs 2 pcs
- salt pinch
- almonds, ground 100 g
- whipping cream 70 g
- chocolate, dark 125 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 140 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder separately into small bowls.
- 3. Separate the eggs and set the yolks aside for another use.
- 4. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt using a hand mixer until stiff.
- 5. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar and continue beating until the mixture is thick and creamy.
- 6. Gently fold in the sifted cocoa powder and ground almonds into the egg mixture.
- 7. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag.
- 8. Pipe small dollops with a diameter of about 3 centimeters onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 9. Bake the macarons in the preheated oven for about 14 minutes until they are light and crunchy.
- 10. Allow the macarons to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- 11. Heat the cream in a pot over medium heat.
- 12. Let the chocolate melt in the hot cream.
- 13. Pour the chocolate cream into a bowl.
- 14. Place the cream in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 15. Whip the cold cream briefly with a hand blender.
- 16. Sandwich two macarons together with half a teaspoon of the cream.
