Instructions

  1. 1. Fill a pot with about 500 milliliters of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. 2. Roughly chop the chocolate (baking and decorating chocolate).
  3. 3. Place a bowl with 250 grams of the chopped chocolate over the hot pot, ensuring it does not touch the water.
  4. 4. Allow the chocolate to melt in the hot steam.
  5. 5. Remove the bowl from the pot as soon as the chocolate is completely melted.
  6. 6. Add the remaining solid part of the chocolate gradually into the melted chocolate.
  7. 7. Stir the mixture with a whisk until the solid pieces have dissolved.
  8. 8. Ensure that the chocolate cools down slowly due to the addition of the cold chocolate.
  9. 9. Use the now tempered chocolate for decorating cakes or chocolates.
