- bittersweet chocolate 290 g
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with about 500 milliliters of water and bring it to a boil.
- 2. Roughly chop the chocolate (baking and decorating chocolate).
- 3. Place a bowl with 250 grams of the chopped chocolate over the hot pot, ensuring it does not touch the water.
- 4. Allow the chocolate to melt in the hot steam.
- 5. Remove the bowl from the pot as soon as the chocolate is completely melted.
- 6. Add the remaining solid part of the chocolate gradually into the melted chocolate.
- 7. Stir the mixture with a whisk until the solid pieces have dissolved.
- 8. Ensure that the chocolate cools down slowly due to the addition of the cold chocolate.
- 9. Use the now tempered chocolate for decorating cakes or chocolates.
