🍰 Chocolate-Cinnamon Croissants

Ingredients
- chocolate, dark 50 g
- brown sugar 2 tbsp
- cinnamon 1 tsp
- puff pastry 2 pcs
- butter 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
- 3. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- 4. Roll out the dough flat.
- 5. Cut the dough into four equal quarters.
- 6. Cut each quarter diagonally in half to create a total of 16 triangles.
- 7. Brush each triangle thinly with butter.
- 8. Leave a narrow border free at the outer end of the triangle.
- 9. Sprinkle some of the cinnamon-sugar mixture in the center of each triangle.
- 10. Distribute a few chocolate pieces on top of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 11. Roll each triangle from the wide base to the pointed tip.
- 12. Shape the rolled triangles into a classic croissant shape.
- 13. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 14. Bake the croissants for about 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 15. Remove the croissants from the oven and let them cool down briefly.
- 16. Serve the chocolate-cinnamon croissants lukewarm or after they have cooled completely.
