🍳 Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Ingredients
- Hazelnut kernels, whole 100 g
- Chocolate, dark 150 g
- Whipping cream 75 ml
- butter 50 g
- Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- Cocoa powder 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 3. Spread the hazelnuts evenly on the tray.
- 4. Roast the nuts for about 12 minutes until they smell fragrant.
- 5. Take the warm nuts out of the oven.
- 6. Place them in a clean kitchen towel.
- 7. Rub the nuts in the towel until the skins come off.
- 8. Let the nuts cool down completely.
- 9. Put the cooled nuts into the mixing container.
- 10. Insert the measuring cup.
- 11. Chop the nuts for 15 seconds on speed 7.
- 12. Push the nut pieces down to the sides with a spatula.
- 13. Repeat the chopping and pushing process 5 to 6 times.
- 14. Take breaks in between so the device does not overheat.
- 15. Stop when a creamy nut paste has formed.
- 16. Transfer the nut paste to a bowl and set it aside.
- 17. Coarsely chop the chocolate.
- 18. Put the chocolate into the mixing container.
- 19. Add cream, butter, vanilla sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 20. Insert the measuring cup.
- 21. Mix everything for 5 minutes on speed 2 at 50 degrees Celsius.
- 22. Scrape the mixture down to the sides with a spatula.
- 23. Add the prepared nut paste to the chocolate mixture.
- 24. Blend everything smoothly for 20 seconds on speed 8.
- 25. Fill the finished spread into a clean jar.
- 26. Store the spread in the refrigerator.
- 27. Take the spread out of the fridge about 15 minutes before eating.
- 28. This makes it soft and spreadable.
- 29. Consume the spread within one week.
