🍰 Chocolate Cake Pops

Ingredients
- butter 125 g
- chocolate, dark 100 g
- brown sugar 150 g
- eggs 2 pcs.
- wheat flour, Type 405 60 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- cocoa powder 25 g
- sea salt pinch
- cream cheese, plain 50 g
- coating, dark 300 g
- coating, white 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Use top and bottom heat.
- 2. Grease a baking dish measuring 20 x 30 cm thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the butter into larger pieces.
- 4. Chop the chocolate roughly.
- 5. Bring about 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
- 6. Place a metal bowl over the pot to create a hot water bath.
- 7. Melt the butter and the chocolate in the metal bowl over the hot water.
- 8. Take another bowl.
- 9. Whisk sugar and eggs together with a whisk.
- 10. Pour the melted butter and chocolate into the sugar-egg mixture.
- 11. Mix everything until a homogeneous mass forms.
- 12. Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt into the bowl.
- 13. Stir everything into a smooth dough.
- 14. Spread the dough mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- 15. Bake the dough in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 16. Turn the baked chocolate cake out of the dish.
- 17. Let the cake cool down completely.
- 18. Crumble the cooled cake into a clean bowl.
- 19. Knead the cake crumbs with cream cheese until you have a uniform mass.
- 20. Shape small balls from the mixture.
- 21. Place the balls in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- 22. Finely chop the dark chocolate coating (chocolate for dipping).
- 23. Melt the dark chocolate coating over a water bath.
- 24. Grate the white chocolate coating (white chocolate for dipping) finely.
- 25. Insert wooden sticks firmly into the cold balls.
- 26. Dip the balls with sticks into the melted dark chocolate coating.
- 27. Let the excess chocolate drip off the cake pops.
- 28. Sprinkle the grated white chocolate coating over the still wet cake pops.
- 29. Let the cake pops set.
- 30. Place the finished chocolate cake pops into glasses.
- 31. Serve the treats.
