🍰 Moist Chocolate Brownies with Egg Liqueur Marbling

Ingredients
- Dark chocolate 200 g
- Butter 250 g
- Brown sugar 330 g
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Wheat flour, Type 405 60 g
- Baking powder 0.5 pack
- Cocoa powder 50 g
- Salt pinch
- Cream cheese, plain 200 g
- Egg liqueur 10 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces.
- 3. Cut the butter into small cubes.
- 4. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot.
- 5. Place a metal bowl over the pot so it touches the steam but does not sit in the water.
- 6. Add the chocolate pieces and butter cubes to the metal bowl.
- 7. Stir gently until the chocolate and butter are completely melted.
- 8. Remove the bowl from the pot and set it aside.
- 9. Take a separate, large bowl.
- 10. Add 300 grams of cane sugar to the bowl.
- 11. Whisk the eggs together with the sugar using a whisk until the mixture is light and frothy.
- 12. Pour the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg-sugar mixture.
- 13. Stir everything well until a uniform, smooth mass is formed.
- 14. Take a sieve and hold it over the bowl.
- 15. Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt into the mixture.
- 16. Gently mix the dry ingredients into the batter until just combined.
- 17. Grease a baking dish with some butter or oil.
- 18. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
- 19. Take a small bowl for the filling.
- 20. Add cream cheese to the small bowl.
- 21. Add egg liqueur to the cream cheese mixture.
- 22. Add 30 grams of sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
- 23. Stir the cream cheese, egg liqueur, and sugar until smooth.
- 24. Drop the cream cheese mixture spoonful by spoonful onto the brownie batter.
- 25. Drag a fork through the two batters to create a marble pattern.
- 26. Place the dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
- 27. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool for a short while.
- 28. Cut the brownies into individual pieces.
- 29. Check the baking time with a toothpick: it should come out moist, but not wet with batter.
