🍰 Chocolate Pear Cake with Crumble Topping

Ingredients
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Quark 40 % fat in total 150 g
- Milk 50 ml
- Oil 50 ml
- Wheat flour, Type 405 400 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Cocoa powder 30 g
- Salt pinch
- Baking powder 1 packet
- Pears 1 kg
- Butter 50 g
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Place one egg, quark (a type of fresh cheese), milk, and oil into a mixing bowl or blender jar.
- 3. Mix these ingredients for 30 seconds on speed level 2.
- 4. Add 270 grams of flour, 50 grams of sugar, 20 grams of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and baking powder.
- 5. Knead the dough for 1 minute on the kneading setting.
- 6. Line a 28-centimeter diameter springform pan with baking paper.
- 7. Grease the sides of the pan.
- 8. Pour the dough into the pan and spread it so that the bottom is completely covered.
- 9. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 10. Cut the pears into quarters and remove the core.
- 11. Place 50 grams of soft butter, 50 grams of sugar, 10 grams of cocoa powder, and 80 grams of flour into the mixing bowl.
- 12. Knead these ingredients for 1 minute on the dough kneading setting until crumbles form.
- 13. Distribute the pear quarters evenly over the dough in the pan.
- 14. Spread the chocolate crumbles evenly over the pears.
- 15. Bake the cake in the oven for about 60 minutes.
- 16. Carefully remove the cake from the oven.
- 17. Let the cake cool down completely in the springform pan.
- 18. Dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
