  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Grease a loaf pan with baking spray or a little butter.
  3. 3. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove.
  4. 4. Make sure the butter does not get too hot.
  5. 5. Blend the ripe bananas together with the eggs until smooth.
  6. 6. Alternatively, mash the bananas and eggs finely with a fork.
  7. 7. Add the melted butter, the tonka bean, and the brown sugar to the banana mixture.
  8. 8. Mix everything until creamy for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Combine the flour with the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  10. 10. Stir the flour mixture and the ground almonds into the banana mixture.
  11. 11. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  12. 12. Smooth the surface of the batter.
  13. 13. Gently fold in half of the chocolate chunks.
  14. 14. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks and almonds on top.
