  6. 6. Sprinkle sugar over the rice.
  7. 7. Let the sugar caramelize for about one minute.
  8. 8. Deglaze the rice with a ladle of the warm apple juice.
  9. 9. Ensure the rice is lightly covered with liquid.
  10. 10. Continue cooking the risotto for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  11. 11. Add more liquid if it almost evaporates.
  12. 12. Finely chop the dark chocolate.
  13. 13. Peel the apples.
  14. 14. Halve the apples.
  15. 15. Remove the cores from the apple halves.
