🍽️ Crispy Veal Schnitzels from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- Veal schnitzel 2 pcs
- Ghee 100 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 75 g
- Eggs 1 pcs
- Breadcrumbs 40 g
- Cranberries 2 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Place the veal schnitzels between two layers of cling film.
- 2. Pound the schnitzels flat with a meat mallet or a pot until they are thin.
- 3. Season the flat schnitzels on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 4. Put the flour on one plate and the breadcrumbs on a second plate.
- 5. Carefully beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 6. Lightly spray the schnitzels with cold water.
- 7. Coat the schnitzels thoroughly in the flour.
- 8. Shake off any excess flour from the schnitzels.
- 9. Dip the floured schnitzels into the beaten eggs.
- 10. Then coat the egg-covered schnitzels in the breadcrumbs.
- 11. Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Put ghee in a pot and heat it to about 170 degrees Celsius.
- 13. Melt the ghee slightly if it is not yet liquid.
- 14. Brush both sides of the breaded schnitzels with the liquid ghee.
- 15. Place the schnitzels on the wire racks of the air fryer.
- 16. Slide the racks into the air fryer.
- 17. Bake the schnitzels for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 18. Turn the schnitzels after the first baking time.
- 19. Bake the schnitzels for another 4 to 5 minutes.
- 20. Remove the schnitzels when they are golden brown.
- 21. Serve the finished schnitzels with lingonberry jam and lemon wedges.
