  3. 3. Roast the nuts in the dry pan.
  4. 4. Sprinkle sugar over the nuts.
  5. 5. Stir the nuts constantly until the sugar caramelizes.
  6. 6. Place the nuts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. 7. Let the nuts cool down.
  8. 8. Break the cooled nuts into small pieces.
  9. 9. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  10. 10. Cut the lemon in half.
  11. 11. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  12. 12. Wash the apple.
  13. 13. Remove the core from the apple.
  14. 14. Slice the apple into very thin slices.
  15. 15. Place the apple slices in a bowl.
  16. 16. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice to the apples.
  17. 17. Mix the apples with the juice.
  18. 18. Put the lemon juice and jam sugar into a pot.
  19. 19. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring occasionally.

  26. 26. Fill the jelly immediately to the brim into the hot jars.
  27. 27. Distribute the apple slices and caramel evenly in the jars.
  28. 28. Seal the jars tightly.
  29. 29. Let the jars cool down.
  30. 30. Serve the jelly with vanilla ice cream if desired.
