🍰 Quick Cinnamon Rolls from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- butter 60 g
- brown sugar 60 g
- salt pinch
- breadcrumbs 1 tbsp
- cinnamon 2 tsp
- ginger powder pinch
- cardamom, ground pinch
- wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- baking powder 3 tsp
- curd cheese, skimmed 125 g
- milk 5 tbsp
- rapeseed oil 5 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut two pieces of baking paper that are slightly larger than the basket of your air fryer.
- 2. Mix butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl with a hand mixer (using the whisk attachment) until creamy.
- 3. Stir breadcrumbs and your spices into the butter-sugar mixture.
- 4. Combine flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder in a second bowl.
- 5. Add quark (a type of fresh cheese), milk, and oil to the flour mixture.
- 6. Process the ingredients with a hand mixer (using the dough hook attachment) to form a dough.
- 7. Take the dough out and knead it briefly by hand into a ball.
- 8. Lightly dust your work surface with flour and dust the dough as well.
- 9. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle measuring 36 by 24 centimeters.
- 10. Spread the cinnamon-butter mixture evenly over the dough.
- 11. Leave a border of about 1 centimeter free on both long sides.
- 12. Roll the dough up tightly starting from one of the long sides.
- 13. Cut the roll into 12 slices, each about 3 centimeters thick.
- 14. Line the fryer basket with one of the prepared baking paper pieces.
- 15. Place the cinnamon rolls in the basket and press them slightly together.
- 16. Bake the rolls at 160 degrees Celsius for 7 minutes.
- 17. Carefully remove the basket and turn the rolls out onto the second piece of baking paper.
- 18. Peel the bottom baking paper off the rolls.
- 19. Turn the rolls over and place them back into the basket.
- 20. Finish cooking the rolls at 180 degrees Celsius for another 5 to 7 minutes.
- 21. Serve the cinnamon rolls best when they are lukewarm.

- 23. Tip: You can also freeze the rolls. If you thaw them later, warm them up at 160 degrees Celsius for about 2 minutes.
