  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
  2. 2. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 pinch of salt in a bowl.
  3. 3. Beat butter, vanilla sugar, and 180 grams of sugar with a hand mixer until creamy in a separate bowl.
  4. 4. Add the eggs one by one to the butter mixture and mix well after each addition.
  5. 5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the dough and knead everything well.
  6. 6. Mix 70 grams of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a small bowl for the topping.
  7. 7. Form about 36 equal-sized balls from the dough.
  8. 8. Roll the dough balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. 9. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  10. 10. Gently flatten the balls.
  11. 11. Put the baking sheets in the oven one after the other for approx. 10 minutes and bake the cookies.
  12. 12. Carefully remove the snickerdoodles from the oven.
  13. 13. Let the cookies cool down.
  14. 14. Serve the snickerdoodles and enjoy them.
