🍽️ Quick Mushroom Toasts

Ingredients
- mushrooms, white 500 g
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- bacon strips 100 g
- balsamic vinegar, light 2 tsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- basil, fresh 20 g
- vine tomatoes 2 pcs
- toast bread 8 slices
- Emmental grated 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Clean the mushrooms with a cloth if necessary.
- 2. Slice the mushrooms.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat.
- 4. Fry the mushrooms together with the bacon strips for about 6 to 7 minutes.
- 5. Cook the ingredients until they are crispy.
- 6. Season the mixture with balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- 7. Wash the basil.
- 8. Shake the basil dry.
- 9. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 10. Reserve a few leaves for garnish.
- 11. Finely chop the remaining basil.
- 12. Wash the tomato.
- 13. Remove the stem of the tomato.
- 14. Slice the tomato thinly.
- 15. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 16. Place the toast slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- 17. Top each toast slice with a tomato slice.
- 18. Add some of the mushroom mixture to each slice.
- 19. Sprinkle the chopped basil over the toasts.
- 20. Sprinkle Emmental cheese over the toasts.
- 21. Bake the toasts in the oven for about 5 minutes.
- 22. Bake the toasts until they are golden brown.
- 23. Serve the toasts immediately.
- 24. Garnish the toasts with the reserved basil leaves.
