🍽️ Quick Chicken Cordon Bleu with Fries

Ingredients
- frozen fries 1 kg
- chicken breast fillets 400 g
- Gouda sliced cheese 4 slices
- cooked ham 4 slices
- frozen parsley 4 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- pepper, white ground pinch
- ghee 2 tbsp
- Cornflakes 8 tbsp
- organic lemons 0.5 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3. Spread the fries evenly on the tray.
- 4. Place the tray in the oven.
- 5. Bake the fries for about 15 minutes.
- 6. Take the tray out and turn the fries over.
- 7. Bake the fries for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 8. Slice the chicken breast fillets lengthwise.
- 9. Do not cut all the way through to create a pocket.
- 10. Open the meat like a book.
- 11. Place cheese and ham inside the pocket.
- 12. Sprinkle parsley over the filling.
- 13. Close the meat pocket again.
- 14. Secure the opening with a toothpick.
- 15. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 16. Heat a pan with clarified butter.
- 17. Fry the chicken pockets on high heat until golden brown on both sides.
- 18. Remove the meat from the pan.
- 19. Place the meat with the fries back into the oven.
- 20. Bake everything for about 10 minutes.
- 21. Leave the pan with the fat residues.
- 22. Crush the cornflakes slightly with your hands.
- 23. Add the cornflakes to the hot pan.
- 24. Fry the cornflakes until golden brown over medium heat.
- 25. Season the fries with salt at the end.
- 26. Plate the fries and the meat.
- 27. Sprinkle the crispy cornflakes over the meat.
- 28. Cut the lemon into wedges.
- 29. Serve the dish with the lemon wedges.
