🍽️ Quick Gnocchi with Braised Tomatoes

Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Gnocchi, fresh 800 g
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Cherry tomatoes mix 500 g
- Basil, fresh 20 g
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Sugar pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Bring four liters of salted water to a boil in a pot.
- 2. Cook the gnocchi for about four minutes until they float to the surface.
- 3. Drain the gnocchi in a colander and let them drip dry.
- 4. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 5. Finely chop the onion.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Finely chop the garlic.
- 8. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
- 9. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 10. Wash the basil.
- 11. Shake the basil dry.
- 12. Finely chop the basil.
- 13. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 14. Sauté the onion and garlic for about two minutes until they are colorless.
- 15. Add the tomatoes to the pan.
- 16. Cook the tomatoes for another five minutes.
- 17. Season the tomatoes with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 18. Add the gnocchi to the tomatoes.
- 19. Add half of the chopped basil to the tomatoes.
- 20. Mix everything well.
- 21. Plate the gnocchi.
- 22. Sprinkle the remaining basil over the gnocchi.
- 23. Serve the dish.
