  2. 2. Add flour, Almdudler (a popular Austrian herbal soda), and baking powder to the egg mixture.
  3. 3. Stir everything together until you have a smooth batter.
  4. 4. Peel the apples and remove the core.
  5. 5. Slice the apples into rounds about 0.5 cm thick.
  6. 6. Gently fold the apple slices into the batter.
  7. 7. Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. 8. Take a spoonful of batter with apple slices and place it in the hot pan.
  9. 9. Fry the fritters until golden brown on both sides.
  10. 10. Repeat the process until all the batter is used up.
  11. 11. Arrange the finished apple fritters on plates.
  12. 12. Dust them with cinnamon and serve hot.
