🍰 Crispy Apple Scharlotka

Ingredients
- butter 120 g
- Eggs 4 pcs
- Sugar 100 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 300 g
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Apples, red 500 g
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Oil for greasing 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the butter into cubes of about 2 cm.
- 3. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl until frothy.
- 4. Sift the flour and baking powder over the egg mixture.
- 5. Stir the dry ingredients in until combined.
- 6. Add the butter cubes to the dough gradually.
- 7. Mix everything into a smooth dough.
- 8. Peel the apples and remove the core.
- 9. Cut the apples into small pieces.
- 10. Toss the apple pieces in a bowl with cinnamon.
- 11. Gently fold the seasoned apple pieces into the dough.
- 12. Grease a springform pan and line it with baking paper.
- 13. Pour the dough into the pan and smooth the top.
- 14. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
- 15. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- 16. Serve the Scharlotka and enjoy.
