🍽️ Spicy Chicken with Sesame Broccoli and Rice

Ingredients
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Chicken breast fillets 600 g
- Soy sauce 3 tbsp
- Chili, ground pinch
- Jasmine rice 300 g
- Salt pinch
- Broccoli 1 pc.
- Onions, red 2 pcs.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Sesame, white 2 tbsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the lemon thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 3. Rinse the chicken meat.
- 4. Dry the meat with kitchen paper.
- 5. Cut the meat into strips about 2 cm wide.
- 6. Place the chicken strips in a bowl.
- 7. Add the lemon juice, soy sauce, and chili.
- 8. Mix everything well together.
- 9. Set the meat aside to marinate.
- 10. Put the rice in a pot.
- 11. Pour about 700 ml of salted water over it.
- 12. Bring the water to a boil.
- 13. Reduce the heat to low.
- 14. Cover the pot.
- 15. Let the rice cook for about 10 minutes.
- 16. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 17. Keep the rice warm.
- 18. Bring about 1 liter of salted water to a boil in another pot.
- 19. Wash the broccoli thoroughly.
- 20. Remove the stalk.
- 21. Cut the florets into pieces about 2 cm in size.
- 22. Add the broccoli pieces to the boiling water.
- 23. Cook the broccoli for about 3 minutes.
- 24. Drain the broccoli in a sieve.
- 25. Peel the onion.
- 26. Cut the onion into eighths.
- 27. Peel the garlic.
- 28. Finely chop the garlic.
- 29. Let the chicken drain.
- 30. Save the marinade.
- 31. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 32. Add the chicken strips to the pan.
- 33. Add the onion pieces.
- 34. Fry everything for about 5 minutes on all sides.
- 35. Pour in the marinade.
- 36. Cook everything for another 2 minutes over low heat.
- 37. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in another pot over medium heat.
- 38. Add the broccoli to the pot.
- 39. Add the sesame.
- 40. Add the garlic.
- 41. Toss everything for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 42. Season with salt and pepper.
- 43. Plate the chicken.
- 44. Add the sesame broccoli.
- 45. Serve with the rice.
