  1. 1. Bring about 5 liters of water with salt to a boil in a large pot and cover the pot.
  2. 2. Halve the onions, remove the skin, and cut them into cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  4. 4. Wash the parsley, dry it well, pluck the leaves from the stems, and chop them finely.
  5. 5. Drain the olives and chop them coarsely.
  6. 6. Rinse the lemon under hot water, grate about 1 teaspoon of zest, and halve the fruit.
  7. 7. Squeeze the juice from one half of the lemon.
  8. 8. Clean the shrimp and pat them dry.
  9. 9. Add the spaghetti to the boiling salted water and cook for about 8 minutes al dente.
  10. 10. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  11. 11. Sauté the onions, garlic, chili, and olives for about 3 minutes.
  12. 12. Add the shrimp and the lemon zest, and fry for about 3 minutes, turning occasionally.
  13. 13. Stir in the parsley and remove the pan from the heat.
  14. 14. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and the lemon juice.
  15. 15. Drain the pasta, let it drain well, and fold it into the shrimp mixture.
  16. 16. Serve the dish immediately.
