🍽️ Spicy Meatballs with Sauerkraut Salad

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- parsley, fresh 40 g
- peanuts, roasted and salted 4 tbsp
- ground pork 600 g
- eggs 1 pc.
- breadcrumbs 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- chili, ground pinch
- oil 4 tbsp
- sauerkraut 500 g
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- vinegar 1 tbsp
- honey 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onion in half and remove the skin.
- 2. Dice the onion finely.
- 3. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
- 4. Dry the parsley.
- 5. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 6. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- 7. Coarsely chop the peanuts.
- 8. Place the ground meat in a bowl.
- 9. Add the diced onion to the meat.
- 10. Add half of the chopped parsley.
- 11. Crack the egg into the bowl.
- 12. Add the breadcrumbs.
- 13. Season with salt.
- 14. Season with pepper.
- 15. Add chili.
- 16. Mix all ingredients well by hand.
- 17. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
- 18. Pour 2 tablespoons of oil into a pan.
- 19. Heat the oil over high heat.
- 20. Fry the meatballs in the pan.
- 21. Fry the meatballs for about 6 minutes.
- 22. Turn off the heat.
- 23. Let the meatballs rest briefly.
- 24. Place the sauerkraut in a sieve.
- 25. Let the sauerkraut drain slightly.
- 26. Place the yogurt in a clean bowl.
- 27. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the yogurt.
- 28. Add vinegar.
- 29. Season the yogurt mixture with salt.
- 30. Season the yogurt mixture with pepper.
- 31. Add honey.
- 32. Add the remaining parsley.
- 33. Mix the yogurt mixture well.
- 34. Add the drained sauerkraut to the yogurt mixture.
- 35. Combine the sauerkraut with the sauce.
- 36. Season the salad to taste.
- 37. Get plates ready.
- 38. Place the sauerkraut salad on the plates.
- 39. Place the spicy meatballs on the salad.
- 40. Sprinkle the peanuts over the dish.
