🍽️ Sauerkraut with Pineapple and Bacon

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- pineapple pieces from the can 340 g
- bacon strips 125 g
- sauerkraut 520 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- cumin, whole pinch
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onions in half, peel them, and dice them finely. Place the pineapple in a sieve and catch the juice.
- 2. In a pot, fry the bacon together with the onions over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Then add the sauerkraut and heat everything together for about 5 minutes. Next, add the pineapple and about 100 ml of the pineapple juice to the pot, cover, and let it simmer for approx. 10 minutes.
