  1. 1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into strips. Peel the garlic and dice finely. Peel the ginger and grate finely on a grater.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with garlic, ginger, curry, chili, ½ tsp salt and some oil. Marinate the meat for at least 1 hour. In another bowl, soak the wooden skewers in cold water.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, chop the almonds coarsely. Heat a pan over medium to high heat and roast the almonds without fat for about 2 minutes. Peel the banana and mash in a bowl. Mix with the roasted almonds and yogurt and season with salt, chili and sugar.
  4. 4. Preheat the grill. Drain the marinated meat well and thread onto the skewers. Grill the satay skewers for about 5 minutes. Serve with the banana-almond dip. Enjoy your meal!
