🍽️ Satay Skewers with Banana-Almond Dip

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- ginger, fresh 30 g
- curry powder 2 tsp
- chili, ground pinch
- salt pinch
- sunflower oil 100 ml
- almonds, whole 2 tbsp
- bananas 1 pcs.
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into strips. Peel the garlic and dice finely. Peel the ginger and grate finely on a grater.
- 2. In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with garlic, ginger, curry, chili, ½ tsp salt and some oil. Marinate the meat for at least 1 hour. In another bowl, soak the wooden skewers in cold water.
- 3. Meanwhile, chop the almonds coarsely. Heat a pan over medium to high heat and roast the almonds without fat for about 2 minutes. Peel the banana and mash in a bowl. Mix with the roasted almonds and yogurt and season with salt, chili and sugar.
- 4. Preheat the grill. Drain the marinated meat well and thread onto the skewers. Grill the satay skewers for about 5 minutes. Serve with the banana-almond dip. Enjoy your meal!
