  1. 1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly and cut off the ends.
  2. 2. Cut the cucumber into cubes of about 1 cm.
  3. 3. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
  4. 4. Remove the hard core from the tomatoes.
  5. 5. Cut the tomatoes into cubes as well.
  6. 6. Cut the onion in half and peel it.
  7. 7. Cut the onion into thin strips.
  8. 8. Wash the parsley and shake off excess water.
  9. 9. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
  10. 10. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  11. 11. Cut the lemon in half.
  12. 12. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  13. 13. Place the cucumber cubes, tomato cubes, onion strips, and parsley into a bowl.
  14. 14. Add a splash of olive oil to the vegetables.
  15. 15. Mix everything well together.
  16. 16. Season the salad with salt and pepper.
  17. 17. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium to high heat.
  18. 18. Fry the cevapcici (small grilled sausages) in it for 6 to 8 minutes.
  19. 19. Slice the baguettes lengthwise, but not all the way through.
  20. 20. Spread the bread halves with ajvar (roasted red pepper paste).
  21. 21. Fill the sandwiches with the fried cevapcici.
  22. 22. Place the prepared salad on top of the meat.
  23. 23. Add some yogurt.
  24. 24. Drizzle some lemon juice over the sandwich.
  25. 25. Add some pan drippings (fat and herb residues from the pan) to taste.
  26. 26. Sprinkle the sandwich with fresh parsley.
  27. 27. Serve the sandwich immediately.
